That spells Dallas! And that is my absolute favorite of burger on the Bobby's Burger Palace menu.

Is it because I was born and raised in that fine city? Maybe, but probably not. It’s a magical combination of creamy coleslaw, melty Monterey jack cheese, ever-so-slightly spicy BBQ sauce, and pickles, on a perfectly griddled Certified Angus Beef patty. The real secret weapon though is the spice rub that is generously dusted on the patty before cooking. It’s Bobby’s signature Spice Rub, available for purchase on this website (hint-hint) or the recipe is below. So if the Dallas Burger isn’t happiness on a bun, then I don’t know what is.

BOBBY’S SPICE RUB

1 tablespoon ancho chile powder
2 teaspoons Spanish paprika
1 teaspoon each dried oregano, ground coriander, dry mustard, ground cumin and kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground chile de arbol.
